The 150th Combat Engineers where reactivated September 2, 1994. Below is the Lineage and Honors. Under it is many links with letters, news articles, and pictures of the ceremony. We will not be adding much more to this section, as we are concentrating on the the work and actions of the men in WWII. We do hope one day to link to a website about the current 150th, should they make one.
2021 Update, This unit was deactivated shortly after their time in the
Iraq war. It was again REACTIVATED in January 2017, and is now and
hopefully will remain an active military unit. My father Bob Pitts at 94
went to the activation of the unit, making it so they again could
legitimately carry the decorations, Campaign Participation and
Streamers, and Presidential Unit citation of the WWII era 150th! I plan
on adding in quite a bit more information about the Mississippi 150th
from the 90's, and current. This will happen after I have finished
upgrading the entire original website I created! So hopefully over
winter 2021-2022 this will happen.
