Jack Copleys truck. All his trucks were dirty and banged up. He had three different trucks through the war. He kept losing them to German fire, and left one to the Germans when they counter attacked at the Zigfried Line, where 1st squad set up a line of defense and German Tanks hit them. They ran like hell out of there, and left the truck behind. Be my guest was his feeling about them and the truck. They were part of the first troops to hit the line and first to be kicked out by tanks. |
